Systems Support Tech 

We are a growing company dedicated to providing exceptional IT support services. We are seeking a motivated and skilled Support professional to join our team, where you’ll be responsible for assisting customers with networking, server administration, printer troubleshooting and backup recoveries. This is an excellent opportunity to expand your technical expertise in a dynamic and rewarding environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive support for Linux and Windows printer troubleshooting, including networked printers, local printers, and multi-function devices.
  • Resolve issues related to printer connectivity, driver installations, paper jams, print queue errors, and other hardware/software problems.
  • Provide Linux server support (primarily RedHat) in physical, virtual, and cloud environments (especially Azure).
  • Troubleshoot Linux-based systems, ensuring they run efficiently and securely.
  • Provide support for Windows server environments, including Active Directory (AD), Azure, and IIS.
  • Responsible for cases loads and ticketing systems, as well as placing phone calls and speaking with customers.
  • On-call technical support for front line support to customers for their network, server, and printer issues

Desired Skills

  • Ability and desire to learn new technical skills and work independently
  • Excellent English language skills, direct customer service experience
  • Network experience with Cisco Meraki, FortiGate, SonicWALL, pfsense and Palo Alto, a plus.
  • Working experience with Linux systems (RedHat, Centos)
  • Windows server experience: AD, Azure and IIS
  • Backup experience with Azure ASR, Veeam and Rsync a plus.
  • Knowledge of virtualization and Azure/Cloud technologies
  • Desire and ability to learn new technical skills
  • Experience with the Epicor Eclipse ERP platform, a plus
