Systems Engineer (Networking/Server Support)
We are looking for a systems/network/server administrator to join our team. We are seeking a well-rounded IT Engineer who can work with customers to support their networks (SD-WAN and various firewalls), server environments (Windows & Linux – physical, virtual, and cloud) all in close cooperation with our other infrastructure teams.
Responsibilities
- Network/Desktop Support: firewalls, turn-ups, routing, IPSec, VLANs, client VPN
- Maintain Windows/Linux infrastructure (physical, virtual, and Azure cloud servers)
- Provide technical support (on-call)
- Proficiency with monitoring and automation tools
- Write documentation (customer-facing and internal)
Desired Skills
- Ability and desire to learn new technical skills and work independently
- Excellent English language skills, direct customer service experience
- Network experience – Router configuration/troubleshooting (SD-WAN a plus)
- Working experience with Linux systems (RedHat, Centos)
- Windows server experience: AD, Azure, Office 365
- Knowledge of virtualization and Azure/Cloud technologies
- Excellent teamwork, communication, organizational, and problem solving skills
- Desire and ability to learn new technical skills
- Experience with the Epicor Eclipse ERP platform a plus
